I can still remember that exhilarating feeling I had when I completed my very first design and stage. It was a massive Malibu mansion. There was an elevator connecting the great room to the master bedroom where the owner kept a walk-in closet and a shoe collection any woman would desire.

It was the early 90s and it was a Barbie Dream House.

It’s funny to think about now but even as a little girl I was dreaming up spectacular spaces. I made my siblings help me move my furniture in my bedroom three times a year. I cried until my parents let me pick out my own paint color (pink of course). There was something about styling a space that brought me so much joy.

I’m a little grown up now. My taste in paint color has evolved (thank goodness) but that feeling is still very much the same. I started Room Sense Staging and Design so that I could share a bit of that joy with others. Whether it’s staging a home for the savvy seller, re-designing a master suite for first time homebuyers, or doing a full turn-key home styling for new empty nesters, my mission is the same; to make every space feel like home.
